How do I schedule a ride?
Call 951-346-1251, any hour, or use the Book a Ride form and we'll call you back the same day. Two days' notice is ideal for any ride, and same-day is often possible, so ask.
How much does a ride cost?
We quote every trip up front by phone, based on pickup, destination, and service type. The price we quote is the price you pay.
Do you take insurance?
We work with insurance on an out-of-network basis, and we're unusually good at it, because medical billing has been our family's trade since 2008. Call with your situation and we'll walk you through what your plan may reimburse and what private pay would look like.
How do I pay?
Card or debit through a secure Stripe payment link. Installment options are available through Stripe if you'd rather split it up.
Can a family member or caregiver ride along?
Yes. The first companion rides free; there's a small fee for two or more. Just tell us when you book so we plan the space.
What's the difference between ambulatory, wheelchair, and gurney service?
Ambulatory riders can walk with minimal help. Wheelchair riders stay in their own chair, secured in the van. Gurney riders travel lying down. Not sure which fits? Call and describe the situation; we'll figure it out together.
Will you wait during my appointment?
Yes. We offer wait-and-return (wait time is billed) and will-call, where we leave and come back when you're ready. Round trips are our bread and butter.
My pickup involves stairs. Is that a problem?
No, but tell us when you book so we arrive prepared.
What happens if I feel unwell during the ride?
We pull over and help. If it's queasiness, we've got you. If it's a real medical issue, we call 911 immediately and prepare you for transfer to the ambulance. Our drivers are CPR and First Aid trained.
Are you an ambulance?
No. We're non-emergency medical transportation, for scheduled rides. In an emergency, always call 911.
